The Snowshill Hill Estate Bed and Breakfast accommodation is a comfortable, self-contained, independent dwelling which has been thoughtfully converted and furnished to the highest standards of quality, taste and style. It provides a unique opportunity to stay within the grounds of this prestigious North Cotswold Estate. Snowshill Hill Estate is 2 miles from the village of Snowshill where there is a lovely country pub and a pretty village church which was featured in the recent film “Bridget Jones’ Diary”.

…and for breakfast!

Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the main farm yard. Local apple juice, fresh croissants, fruit, locally produced yoghurts, muesli and crunchies, cotswold eggs, sausages and bacon (produced locally from gloucester old spot pigs), mushrooms and tomatoes. Toasts, breads and home made preserves and honey together with a selection of teas and freshly ground coffee.

Questions and answers

What’s your favourite breakfast?: To cook: Good old English! Fried egg (produced in the Cotswolds, nice and yellow!), two or three rashers of back bacon, sausage (from Gloucester Old Spot Pigs, reared locally) tomatoes, mushrooms, fried bread and beans.
To eat: Scrambled egg on brown toast.
What did you do before becoming a landlady/landlord?: Worked for twelve years for Group 4 (now GSL) at Broadway and Tewkesbury, mainly in the role of Personal Assistant to a Director. A great company to work for and lots of experience, on the telephone, of dealing with the public. Also preparing the farm accounts for the farm and Estate here at Snowshill Hill.
What do you enjoy most about running a B&B?: Meeting all the wonderful people that manage to find me from both from the UK and around the world.
What makes your B&B special?: Set high on the hills and two miles from the nearest village, Snowshill, the B&B is set in the corner of a complex of cottages and flats on a working farm and estate of approx. 1000 acres. The accommodation is furnished to a high standard of quality and style and offers a wonderful stay in unique surroundings.
How long have you been running your B&B?: Two and a half years.
